DrivingRoutes ("we", "our", or "us") is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we handle information when you use the DrivingRoutes iOS application.

We do not maintain a server-side history of your practice locations. Location and route information may be processed by Mapbox as needed to provide maps, routing and navigation, subject to Mapbox's privacy terms.
When you choose to use AI Study Coach, the question or answer you type, a limited amount of recent in-session context, and relevant reviewed study content are sent to Google Firebase AI Logic and the Vertex AI Gemini API to generate or assess a response. Do not include names, contact details, health information or other sensitive personal information in an AI Coach answer.
AI Coach conversation context is kept only for the active in-app experience and is not saved as a user profile by DrivingRoutes. We do not send the raw text of your AI questions or answers to Firebase Analytics. Google processes AI requests under its applicable Google Cloud and Firebase terms. Firebase AI Logic does not itself store prompts, although the selected Gemini API provider and security or abuse-monitoring systems may process or retain service data under their own terms.
DrivingRoutes uses service providers to operate the app:
DrivingRoutes offers optional auto-renewing subscriptions (weekly and monthly) processed entirely through Apple's App Store. We do not collect or store any billing or payment information.
We use Firebase Analytics to understand aggregate feature usage and improve the app, and Firebase Crashlytics to diagnose crashes. AI analytics events contain operational fields such as mode, content ID, result, latency category and error type, but not the raw answer or question text.
DrivingRoutes does not display third-party advertising, sell personal information, or use collected app data to track you across apps or websites for targeted advertising.
Local notes, progress and settings remain on your device until you clear them in the app or delete the app. Service providers retain operational, analytics, purchase and diagnostic data according to their own retention policies and our service configuration. You can avoid AI text processing by not using AI Study Coach; the app's ordinary study content remains available without submitting text to Gemini.
You can request information or deletion relating to data controlled by us by contacting the address below. Some app-scoped records may not be identifiable to a named person because the app does not require an account.
DrivingRoutes is not directed at children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
Our service providers may process information in Ireland, the European Economic Area, the United States and other locations where they operate. Data sent to supported Firebase services is encrypted in transit. No internet service can guarantee absolute security.
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Any changes will be reflected on this page with an updated date. We encourage you to review this page periodically.
